You wouldn't be able to tell from the outside but Sushi Ring has some of the best sushi I've had. Each meal comes with miso soup, which is a nice addition. We ordered a Garden of the Gods roll, a Pikes Peak roll, and a Unagi roll. All delicious and made beautifully. We loved the atmosphere and the staff was super nice. Another unique thing is that on Fridays they do dinner and a movie. :) I highly recommend this place for sushi in COS.

Food looks amazing in the reviews sadly I wasted my time driving down cause they couldn't update their yelp saying they were closed til the 8th...I suppose it's not their fault they aren't tech savvy but if you own a restaurant or service and don't check or update your yell especially when you're highly rated on yelp...oh well now I'm just ranting cause I couldn't have delicious looking sushi but still I think it's a valid point. Get your shiz together sushi ring.

I've been here twice. The first time was a pretty pleasant experience. The second time was just super weird. The atmosphere is pretty cramped. There's random Elvis decorations everywhere and there isn't a lot of seating. There's the sushi bar area in the middle of the restaurant and then a few small tables around the perimeter. If you come on a crowded night, you might find yourself standing around waiting for a seat. The patrons will help you find a seat before staff bothers to. I think the food was good. If you get the All You Can Eat, you can get unlimited servings of a wide selection of appetizers and all of the items on the sushi menu. The miso soup was nice and had lots of pieces of kelp and tofu. I really enjoyed the calamari... it's all tentacle and no rings, which I prefer. We ordered the pikes peak, rainbow roll, dragon roll, spider roll and salmon nigiri -- and those were good. The only sushi rolls we did NOT like were the ones that the server recommended to us... the Priscilla was one, I cannot remember the others. One was drenched in mayonnaise (it had cooked jalapeno and salmon in it, if that helps) and the others (the Priscilla and the salmon skin roll) just had weird ingredients that my group did not think tasted well together. They were so disgusting just looking at them made me feel yucky. If that's their way of getting customers to stop eating the All You Can Eat sushi, it worked. Our food came out very quickly though. The sushi chefs were all very friendly, chatty, and as prompt as they could be on a busy night. The server (...?) was an older lady who just got progressively stranger throughout the night. First she was super friendly, but then with each trip to the back room, she became even louder and more forward. She commented on and made jokes with some young ladies about their weight. My favorite part was when she leaned in to talk to our group and started coughing on us and our food. We could smell the alcohol on her breath. Someone else on staff confirmed our suspicions that she was drunk. Could have been a reeeeally good experience because most of the food was good, but the service was just WEIRD and it's really not a very comfortable place to spend time in / eat at. I was going to give it a 3 because the sushi was pretty decent (with the exception of the gross rolls and general oversaucing), but the rest of my group thinks it should be a 1 because of the server (no one likes to get coughed on by drunk people), but I'm trying to compromise.

This place is cheap (not money wise) and a mess. It's tight, dirty looking and unwelcoming as you open the door. The food and sushi quality is tasteless and not appealing to the eye. My husband has never been dissatisfied with our sushi/Japanese place choices, but he just stopped eating and said it wasn't even worth ingesting. I realized mid-way into my meal that people def' rate this place so highly because of their all you can eat sushi deal. Anyone with no taste will be happy with a place when it is quantity over quality. Yelp reviews definitely misled us when we chose this place.

I'm really disappointed in the deterioration of this place. Sushi Ring used to be our go-to place for sushi, we didn't mind that it was a hole in the wall place. Our last visits the quality in sushi had clearly deteriorated with the last visit being the last time we will ever dine in their establishment. We are usually greeted immediately, and told to have a seat with our drink order taken as we're seated or soon after. Our last visit, no one acknowledged us, and we had to wait 10 minutes for our drink order to be taken. The menu was filthy, as the table has clearly been wiped down quickly without thoroughly being cleaned so we asked that it be cleaned. A waitress, a Hispanic woman in her 30's, just handed my mother a rag to clean it up and walked away. The woman who took our drink order and was presumed to be our waitress didn't come back after giving us our drinks. Instead, she sat down on conversed with someone sitting at the bar that I'm assuming was a friend. It took 30 minutes to ORDER our sushi and appetizers. The portions of the appetizers are barely a single serving for all you can eat, where they are usually enough for my husband and I in one order. We didn't get any drink refills, and the Hispanic woman ended up taking over our table as the other waitress never got up from talking to her friend. The new waitress was incompetent, avoided us intentionally and only came to drop off sushi and leave abruptly again. The sushi took 45 mins to get to us (we were not there during high volume) and it did not taste fresh. The waitress up-charged our lunch all you can eat rate to the dinner rate because of 1 roll we ordered, in return charging all 3 prices the dinner rate (A difference of $10/ each, so $30 total). We could have caused a scene, we could have been rude, but instead we paid our bill and tipped the woman generously (though she didn't deserve it for lack of service) and said our goodbyes. It's clear with the deterioration in service, food and upkeep (the place was dirty and the floors were filthy) that Sushi Ring is continuing to go down hill. They lost the business of what were once frequent customers.

Don't sleep on this humble little sushi spot in a Southgate strip mall. You can eat all you want for less than $30 and you can opt for a la carte if you're not as hungry as your companions. Visit to look at the Elvis memorabilia, inspired by the owner and head sushi chef himself, whom everyone calls Elvis. Watch him closely and you'll start to see a resemblance to a Young Elvis. You'll love him instantly. He's quiet and dutiful. He's skilled and friendly, but not overbearing. He doesn't want to be your bestie. He wants you to leave with a full, happy belly. You aren't going to be tempted to Instagram photos of the decor, but you'll want to take pictures of nearly every dish of sushi as they're handed to you. This location does offer alcohol. If that's your thing, enjoy some sake or Asian beer as you nosh. And plan to stay a while. The original Sushi Ring makes your experience whatever you want it to be. If you want to sit quietly and enjoy a private sushi meal, then they won't hound you. If you want to chat it up with the chefs or ask questions about the fish, they'll smile, talk with you, and remember your preferences. The sushi chefs are friendly in a sincere way and want to make your sushi experience a fulfilling one..literally and figuratively. You'll want to become a regular, but remember that Elvis has a lot of regulars. Sundays are especially busy and you may need to prepare yourself for a bit of a wait.

I know... it's land locked Colorado, what am I doing going for sushi?? Well, there is plenty of good sushi in Colorado. Unfortunately, it will not be found at Sushi Ring. The Elvis decor threw me a little when I first walked in. But, some of my favorite places have bad decor, so I carried on. As I took as seat at the bar (pretty much your only choice aside from 3 tables) I was informed that lunch had ended (I missed it by 20 minutes), so I would have to order from the dinner menu. No big deal, I just wanted a few pieces of sashimi from the a la carte menu. I was then told I would have to order the 12 or 18 piece plate (the 6 piece on the lunch menu would have been perfect, but I was not allowed to order that) Soooo, after some 'discussion' I was allowed to order sashimi style from the a la carte menu. About 2 minutes later a plastic plate with a few pieces of fish was handed to me... no wasabi, no pickled ginger, no sliver of lemon for the salmon, no artistic presentation. Half the experience of sushi is the beautifully presented plates that most sushi chefs take such pride in. I also ordered my favorite, spicy scallops. Most commonly this is made of sweet, melt in your mouth scallops mixed with kewpie (Japanese) mayo, masago, sriracha and slivered green onion. What I got was was a premade mixture of overcooked, chewy scallops mixed with waaaaayyyy too much mayo (not even sure it was kewpie), masago and topped with a dot of sriracha (I guess they were to lazy to mix it in) and the oldest, most dried out looking green onions I've seen in a while. As I sat there wondering how to get my check and get out fast, I realized this place is most popular for their all you can eat... the old quantity over quality game. I will say they politely removed the spicy scallops from my check since I did not eat them.

This is my second visit to the Sushi Ring... The last time was better almost a year ago. This time they still have great prices (Three of us ate like sushi-pigs for under $40). However, this time there just wasn't the care taken to make everything fresh. Shrimp tempura was pre-made, as was the Chicken Katsu for a bento box... They also had pre-made a lot of the contents for the rolls (I'm not talking about sushi prep either). I know they have a significant draw for the "all you can eat" crowd, but they seemed to stuff the rolls with extra rice even though we weren't getting the all you can eat special. Long story short... Probably the last year we'll give this one a shot! Here's the breakdown: Was I satisfied? Not Exactly Will I return? Nope Will I tell Others? I'm Yelp'ing it!

Came here from California and this sushi is fabulous. Maria has great suggestions and everyone treats you like family. Elvis rocks!

Its a hole in the wall place. The sushi is pretty good but its pretty expensive. Also I don't like how they do the "all you can eat" if you go over their limit you could end up spending $80 like we did.

This one is simple, are there better places, yes but only just barely and no one beats the price, if you're looking for really good sushi at the best price this is the place. So if you haven't already check this place out, I've been coming here for 5 years and never been disappointed.

One of the best sushi I have ever eaten, the staff Was extremely friendly and amazing, we had the open sushi bar unlimited and the sushi chef surprised us with some amazing treats. Very laid back environment.

I was going to give this place 3 stars but I thought about it on my way home and I just can't. Sushi Ring caught my eye as I was loading groceries into my car. I wanted to get home and already had dinner planned, but I figured I'd grab a roll to have while I was cooking. I'll start with the good up front: the sushi was good. It was. But... The restaurant is pretty small, nothing fancy, but the Elvis decor brings the atmosphere down a notch. I like that they tried for an out-of-the-ordinary theme, but they missed the mark completely. If I was an interior decorator, I'd volunteer my time to help these people out. I was greeted by a lady who I assume is the, or one of the, owners. She was super nice and when I said I wanted take out, she took me to the sushi bar and gave me the menu to mark with what I wanted. The sushi menu is poorly designed, somewhat hard to follow, and a grammar junky's worst nightmare. To make matters worse, the "sushi chefs" behind the bar started talking to me immediately, asking me 100 questions so that I could not focus on reading the menu and decide what I wanted. After about 3 minutes of them giving me grief about not staying to eat, I finally just stopped responding so I could make a decision. When I put my order in, one of the chefs started talking to me again. I was SOOO glad that I wasn't dining-in. I would have chosen to eat at the bar because that's my usual preference, but the failed attempts at conversation and horrible jokes from the guy would have made my experience barely tolerable, at best. He seemed nice enough and certainly friendly, but I definitely got the impression that he wasn't one to pick up on someone's hints, subtle or otherwise, that they weren't interested in talking to him while they were eating. The sushi was prepared quickly and I got my roll and my check at the same time. I was a little taken aback by the price (I'll get to that in a minute), but left a tip, signed the check, and thanked them as I walked out. When I got to my car, I opened the box to have one of the slices, and I was SHOCKED at how little was in there. My total bill, including tax and tip, came to $17. I was expecting a huge roll that would be more like a meal than the snack I'd planned on it being. This roll was barely anything (as you can see in the picture). I was (and am) hugely disappointed. I probably won't go back. I doubt I'll ever even remember to think of this place again. They mentioned that they have an all-you-can-eat sushi option. At $21/person, this option seems like a steal compared to what I took home tonight, but really it's probably not worth it. I don't think I'd recommend this place to anyone ever. I give the taste a B+, service a C, decor/atmosphere a D, and price vs. portion an F.

Fresh! Nothing we had was fishy at all. Nigiri of yellow tail, tuna, white tuna, and scallop were perfect. GREAT service and you cannot beat all you can eat for $30. Pleasant surprise hidden in a little strip mall in Colorado Springs. We will be back.

Best sushi in Colorado Springs! Elvis is great and cares about the customers and always stops by our table to say hello. All you can eat is perfect and worth the price!

I keep putting this review off 'cause I don't want you b*tches to hone in on my sushi place. But when people ask me where I go for sushi, I tell them the truth anyhow so why not just write the review and get it over with? I found this place late into my first year in Colorado Springs. I told myself I'd try all the sushi restaurants in the Springs one by one until I found the one I absolutely loved. I was looking for innovative rolls, friendly staff, reasonable prices, and a relaxed atmosphere. This place is so hard to find unless you know what you're looking for. Damn Apple maps app...Look for the Walgreens plaza and then look around very carefully 'cause it's almost hidden in the corner of the strip mall. Parking is never too hard to find but finding a seat for your butt may be. There are 2-maybe 3 tables for parties of 4 directly in the front of the restaurant. But no matter, 'cause the real treat is sitting at the sushi bar directly in front of Arnold and Elvis. They introduce themselves to you, welcome you to their bar, get to know you and your preferences and go from there. I'll put away an average of 6-7 rolls by myself and have yet to feel disappointed about my experience. I'd highly recommend the upside down shrimp, the mussels are crazy good, and I can eat the Pike's Peak Roll over and over again. I truly appreciate the new rolls Arnold creates off the top of his head just because he'll overhear someone say "I like white tuna" or "I love the seared tuna we just had. I wish there was a roll with more of that." He's like a magician! The chefs here make it a point to remember you, make you feel at home and never fail to amaze me. I'm thrilled to see other regulars and it feels like we're one big family when I can look around the corner and ask a group of guys who are obviously getting too full, "Can I finish that roll for you?" And the answer is always an empathic, "Yes please!"

Best. Sushi. Ever. All you can eat. Awesomely hilarious staff. Kitschy casual atmosphere. I genuinely did not like sushi before I tried sushi ring. Been coming for years; won't go anywhere else.

Never have a bad experience here! It's close to work, so we come here often for lunch. The sushi is delicious and fresh, and the prices are very reasonable. Adel makes the best rolls, request him if you can!!

This one is a little better than Sushi Ring II in my opinion. The chef is nice but not pushy and the rolls come out more quickly.

All you can eat sushi. Delicious fresh fish. Just as good as all the high end fancy expensive places. The staff is really friendly. The rolls are amazing and the nigiri is also part of the all you can eat special.

Best sushi in town hands down! All you can eat comes with appetizers and desert. Fish is fresh and delicious.. Thank you Elvis and staff!

Awesome! All you can eat sushi. The sushi is prepared before your eyes. Delicious and the people working there were fun and entertaining. We had a blast. It felt like we were eating at a big table with our family. I asked for surprises and they made delicious bites of sushi! We definitely ate our fill and will be back! Yum!

I have had better sushi. Great reviews on yelp and a verbal recommendations from a local sent us here. Has the vibe of a diner. If you are looking for a romantic or upscale dining experience go elsewhere. Food wasn't bad but I have definitely had better sushi many times before. Salty. And the service was slow. It took quite some time to get anything. I wouldn't come back here.

I love this place! It's small inside and can get a little crowded, but that's because it's awesome. I usually get the Colorado Mountain roll (I think that's what it's called) but everything I've tried from here has been delicious. I've been here numerous times and never been disappointed, except for when I went on a Monday and they were closed.

Sushi Ring is a little hole on the wall restaurant with amusingly tacky Elvis decor. After hearing good reviews from friends, I finally checked this place out and was only disappointed by the cost of the all-you-can-eat menu. $30 for a restricted menu seems a bit much as I can't comfortably eat $30 worth of sushi anyway. I ended up ordering the samurai roll and was very satisfied. The calamari appetizer was more calamari and less fry batter than the average restaurant, which was a nice change. I wish more places made calamari like this. The service was good and fast even though we went during a busy rush. Those chefs can prep sushi at impressive speeds, and it doesn't show in the presentation. If you're looking for good sushi, or you can take advantage of a $24-28 all-you-can-eat menu, this is the place to go.

Best Sushi in town! Great portions, great service (usually anyway, we go there every weekend and only had bad service once where we sat at the bar and the guy kept forgettting to make my orders.) Try to sit in Elvis's section. He's a sweetie and always hooks it up! Even when we can't though, he always tries to stop by and say hello and see how we are doing :) (Elvis is the owner, he's a Japanese fellow that used to be an Elvis impersonator in Vegas, hence all the cheesy Elvis memorabilia on the wall ;) Love love love Sushi ring and how the quality is never anything but superb! I highly recommend the all-you-can-eat and don't forget to take advantage of the endless supply of the absolute best Calamari in town that comes with it!

The service is terrible. I have been waiting a long time for my food yet my husband's food has already come and he's finished eating. After he was finished they finally told me that they couldn't make what I had requested because I had requested soy paper Meanwhile I'm completely starving.

Def a five star restaurant on a two star buget, it was some of the best sushi I have ever had in my life. I would highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for good sushi. Great atmosphere, fresh food, awesome time, oh and $30 all you can eat!!!

  • Crystal B.

This was the WORST service I have ever received. I understand they were short-staffed, however, our order was messed up from the beginning and no matter how many times we mentioned the mistakes, it was never made right. We didn't get half of what we ordered. We ordered all-you-can-eat sushi and didn't get near what we paid for, despite being at the restaurant for over 2 hours. Needless to say, I will never return, or recommend this restaurant to anyone in the Colorado Springs area.

  • Cody M.

Sushi Ring, out of all the sushi I have eaten I've never experienced a better atmosphere, flavor, and deal. 27$ all you can eat sushi, if you a regular sushi eating individual then you know how expensive it can get. At 27$ your paying for roughly three rolls anywhere else and I was pulling five to six rolls ever time I went. Now the chefs there are the most friendly people you'll meet! And not to mention the more you go the more they pay attention, as in they know what you like and have you next roll even before you ask! If to want an awesome experience with an amazing taste to follow suit, hit up the ring it's worth it.

The bf and I went here last night for my belated birthday dinner. After a year here, we've still not managed to find a sushi place we love, and with all the good reviews, I was excited to try this place out.... Guys, I honestly have no freaking idea who these people are who are giving this place five stars. I am not one of those sushi snobs who prattle on about the sushi they ate while living in Japan. I'm from Ohio, for pete's sake. But this was, hands down, the worst sushi either of us have ever eaten. EVER. E-VER. The only "pro" I can come up is that the sushi chefs were sweet and funny, and seemed to have a great report with their regulars. We did the all you can eat option, and started with edamame, shrimp dumplings, and calamari. Dumplings were good, calamari, not. Way too tough and chewy. Our first round of rolls were just ok (the Elvis, Army Ring, and Garden of the Gods roll), but I've had better stuff out of the case at King Soopers. Nigiri was just bad. Mackerel was clearly old and super fishy. It is normally my favorite, and I only ate one piece. Second round of rolls came, the Mukilteo and a Philly, and this is where it got really awful. The first roll had unagi, usually another favorite of mine. I put a piece in my mouth, chewed, and almost vomited. I actually went down the hall to the bathroom and spit it in the toilet. I wish I was kidding. It tasted like dirty pond water. No more unagi for me. Try the Philly I thought, that's hard to screw up. Another miss. Cheap bits of old salmon, was clearly the pieces full of connective bits that should have been trimmed off the fillet and discarded. We left a lot of food uneaten, which is very unlike us. This is, without a doubt, the biggest waste of seventy bucks I have ever spent, and super disappointing for what was supposed to be a celebratory night out. Please, for the love of good seafood, go elsewhere.

ELVIS LIVES!!! You will find him making sushi at the Sushi Ring. This is by far my favorite all around sushi bar. I have other places that I like the food but this place not only has great sushi but fantastic service. We have had sushi made by Elvis and then by other sushi chefs there and we always leave satisfied and smiling. Love everything that I have had there. favorite... hummmm..... I love salmon and the salmon basil is so good. but like I said I love it all! if you haven't been it is a must!

  • Lola B.

The staff was very friendly and I would go back just for the awesome atmosphere. However the sushi was just average at best. It was just OK. The prices were way too high for the rolls. It seemed like all of the rolls were priced for dinner at lunch. Many people did the all you can eat at $21 a person. I thought that was too high. I read a review that said "best sushi in Colorado" or something... um no. I will keep looking for good sushi in Colorado Springs. The place was also way too small. I felt super cramped inside the building, it was very uncomfortable. It was really hard to find the place and the area is kind of scary to say the least. I decided to just go to Denver for sushi, and I found really good sushi very quickly.

  • Bill G.

For landlocked Colorado Springs, this is 4 stars. For the SF Bay area, this would be 3 stars. For Japan ... Well, from the outside, one would never expect Sushi Ring to be so good. The rather hole-in-the-wall location and appearance - the Elvis decor and Japanese owner that goes by Elvis - and less than Japanese looking remainder of the staff doesn't add up to decent sushi (or generally even safe / edible sushi) But... the fish is fresh -- given how fast they go through it, it would have to be. The service is great. The sushi chefs are friendly, maybe too friendly for some patrons wanting to visit with folks they came with -- but for me, there should be rapport with a sushi chef when you sit at the 'bar'. The options are excellent while the names are somewhat localized for the area. The biggest problem can be getting a seat as the place is often a full house with more folks waiting in line. There are only three small tables, so most all seating is at the bar and can be a bit cramped, but people wait in line to sit at the bar even when the tables are empty. The regulars develop seem to develop their preferred chef and he will quickly remember their likes. The aged dashi tofu, better than average, actually the best I've had in the springs, just not as good as fresh prepared. Random option, Maguro Tataki is excellent. Maguro seared with black pepper and served nagiri with sriracha and a kick. EXCELLENT! Bottom line, not the fine dining feel. If you like sushi, great place to enjoy some options, try things you haven't had before, and do so for a reasonable price. Nice people. Lots of regulars. Nothing really to lose, well worth the price, so give it a try.

Sushi ring is the best sushi restaurant in town. I've been eating sushi all over the country and sushi ring has unparalleled customer service and food. The price is certainly affordable.

They're always nice. Too packed for the size of place but the food is always great. They should have the raspberry iced tea though. The pikes peak roll is great! And I love their unagi!!!i wanna come back again soon but the place is just so small. The price for the you can eat lunch is $22 and the dinner is $28. Better than doing a la carte. Learned my lesson... LOL. There's one sushi chef I think he's mexican but he's hilarious. Lol must go!

First place we've had sushi at since we moved from Vegas. Elvis ended up being our sushi chef, how lucky for us! He was friendly, and funny and everyone loves him. The sushi was awesome, so good and fresh. Will definitely be coming bsck, again and again!

Have to say, I'm baffled by the high ratings for this place. The atmosphere is...interesting. Dirty-looking little hole in the wall that still manages to feel homey and welcoming. We sat at the sushi bar and had some interesting conversations with our neighbors, waiters and the always-busy chefs. Service was pretty good, other than the chefs having some questionable conversations that should NOT have been happening in front of customers, and having to ask several times for the nigiri we ordered when we first showed up. The food is the main reason I have to give such a low review. While the all-you-can-eat option was alluring, the quality of the food made me realize why that option exists. The fish itself was NOT fresh, and every single roll we tried was drenched in at least one sauce to try and hide that fact. Presentation--what presentation? Everything looked like pig slop dumped on a plate. If you like cheap, sauce-slathered rolls stuffed with low-quality ingredients, this is the place for you. Just not my thing.

Still on the quest for sushi in Colorado Springs. We tried this place because of the high rating here. I have no idea why this place has such a high rating. The atmosphere and staff were decent, although for most of what we ordered we had to ask more than once. The restaurant is loud. I couldn't hear what the chef was asking me for most of the time. The food is all you can eat, and we ate all we could eat for a reasonable price. But the quality was lacking, so there is a tradeoff to be had. If you don't mind not so fresh fish slathered in sauce and have a large appetite this is your sushi place. If you want more there are better options.

My hunt for GOOD and reasonable sushi has ended. I found Sushi Ring and figured I'd give it a try, having been searching for a sushi bar where I could enjoy a meal by myself and not be in the middle of a hibachi experience. This place is great. Make sure you say hello to King Elvis, one of the chefs, who makes eating here a great experience. I ordered the Army Ring and the Spider Roll which were both delicious. Elvis made sure to ask my preferences on level of spice, types of fish etc. after I ordered so he could make sure I was getting great food. The gentleman next to me ordered the Lisa Marie and the Wise Guy and said he regularly comes in for those two rolls. Things I loved: FRESH FISH. You can really taste the difference between the sushi here and at some other locations around the Springs. It's much better with fresher ingredients. The Sushi is made right in front of you. You walk in and grab a seat at the sushi bar, and can watch/talk with the chef the entire time. Lunch special prices!!! (if only they extended to Sundays..) Things I didn't love: How expensive their All You Can Eat special is. Mobo's is much cheaper. However, I don't usually eat enough to merit this special, but would have wanted it so I could sample more rolls. King Elvis, I will be back!!!

A small venue in a strip mall setting is a well kept secret! It has the feel of a diner but the sushi is AMAZING! We tried several of the local rolls and were not disappointed. Strongly recommend this place if you are in the Colorado Springs (south) area!

Outstanding Sushi!! Pro's: Great sushi rolls, super friendly service, good price for ALL-YOU-CAN-EAT Con's: Rundown neighborhood and may be difficult seating for 6+ groups We recently moved to the "springs" from LA. Least to say we assumed we'd have to downgrade our sushi expectations - not so with Sushi Ring!! There are only 2 drawbacks - one, its located in a strip mall so its hard to see from the road and the area seems a little... rundown? The other issue is if you have a large group (I'm talking even 6 people or more) - they have limited seating. That said, I would take a large group - but I'd plan in advance and make a reservation so that the group could sit around the sushi bar and still feel "in the group." Ok - on to the good stuff: ALL YOU CAN EAT SUSHI - did I say that clear enough? Dinner is $27per person and you can order ANYTHING from the menu!! I've been to other buffet/all you can eat and they ALWAYS limited your ordering. We were very impressed! I can hear your rebuttal already, yelpers - you think the quality is low? I do differ! The fish was very fresh and they had several specialty rolls that were an outstanding combination of flavors. We've eaten at some top LA sushi restaurants and we had flavor profiles that were new and amazing! I urge you to go out of your comfort zone! Service was super friendly. We were a little apprehensive walking in - it was pretty full and in a small place, sometime you get that "we don't know you attitude." We were welcomed to sit at the bar - several sushi chefs came to great us, the waitress immediately brought us drinks. We felt very encouraged and asked lots of questions that were answered by the chefs and fellow regulars :) Each table is basically assigned a sushi chef, our was very attentive and friendly, we never had to wait! Extras: Good drink menu (Pepsi products) of soda, beer, sake, etc. Appetizers and ice cream is also included in the all you can eat, if you save room for it! We highly recommend Sushi Ring and are already looking forward to our next visit.

Best calamari I've had since moving from the east coast, and my sister especially liked the large shrimp appetizer. We both went with various sushi, it was fresh, the chefs were quick and friendly. Just a good time! If your looking for one of those hole in the wall, tacky décor, Great food, great service, This is the place to go!! We will be back!

Great little place! Under $10 for lunch and a pretty extensive menu for the brave and the faint of heart. Staff was very friendly and seemed to know several of the patrons which is always a good sign.

The sushi is great and the service is awesome, a real home like feeling, for the prices of all you can eat sushi you cannot beat it!! Sometimes I wish the place was bigger because they get a lot of business. I would def recommend this place to go eat for sushi junkies!!!!

My wife and I both love sushi and were eager to try some during our recent visit to Colorado Springs. We lived here before and would normally go to Jun but we were staying close to World Arena so we figured we would try something close by. I tried this place for dinner after reading favorable Yelp reviews...so it was quite a letdown to eat there and give this place a "generous" two stars. The place was packed when we got there and we were seated at the last open chairs around the sushi bar. The sushi chef tending to us looked young (he wore glasses), but we didn't think anything of it. The couple who were seated prior to us and were next to us moved to another seat right before our orders were served (guess we should have seen that as an omen). My wife and I tried the California Roll, Unagi, Spicy Tuna, and Dragon Roll. First of all, part of any sushi experience is the presentation...well, the spicy tuna roll was falling apart and the cuts were uneven and looked unappetizing. It just went downhill from there. The unagi wasn't warm and the tempura in the dragon roll was not crispy, like it had been sitting there all day. The sushi chef (and I guess I am giving him too much credit for referring to him as such) didn't seem like he knew what he needed to do with it...and it came out blah. I wanted to give this place the benefit of the doubt...and maybe the young sushi chef was not quite ready for prime time but that was an indictment on the entire establishment for putting someone to serve customers without proper training and without being ready. Maybe the other sushi chefs would have been better but we didn't know...and not willing to find out with another visit. There are definitely much better places than this.

Best sushi in Colorado Springs. The owner is cool and the sushi chefs make it a point to remember you and what you like. Excellent sushi, very fresh. Unlike some AYCE sushi places, nothing is pre-made and includes appetizers. Don't feel compelled to stick the rolls in the menu. The sushi chefs are very friendly and love to make you the sushi the way you want. I asked for a spicy tuna roll with veggie tempura topped with seared tuna and chopped jalepeno... no problem! I'll be back.

I have been sorely disappointed in sushi in Colorado Springs UNTIL I hit up Sushi Ring this week. The fish was fresh! I have had some really bad experiences as of late with old fish and pre cut fish in my sushi. Sushi Ring reminded me of the difference between fresh and less than fresh fish. My sister and I enjoyed everything we were offered here and with the AYCE deal you can try so many things! Order half rolls so you can try more things. The salmon nigiri was awesome and always a simple gage of how the freshness and rice adds up in a place. The salmon was firm, cold and delicious. My sister LOVED the upside down shrimp and the seared tuna nigiri we were offered was really yummy as well. If you're looking for the good stuff in COS, for your sake pass up those other AYCE places and head down to Sushi Ring. I don't think you'll be disappointed.

My five star review is purely for the service. I don't like sushi but I occassionally come here with my husband who is addicted. First of all , I must say that I have never been to a place where there are so many regulars. It seems like everytime someone walks in the door, the chefs and wait staff know them by name and are already preparing their first roll before they have even taken their jackets off. I usually just order some rice and miso soup with a cup of green tea while I watch my husband devour an un-godly amount of sushi. And it never fails that when the chef is taking my husband's order for the next roll, they offer me something as well. They are always suggesting things to me that I might like and encouraging me to create my own roll free of raw fish (ick). I haven't done it yet, but when I do, I will be sure to update my review. I know it must seem pointless for me to write a review on a sushi restaurant given my dislike for sushi, but I did it for all of the non-sushi-eaters out there that are constantly forced to accompany their partners/friends to sushi restaurants. If it happens to you again, suggest this place and you will not only be able to create something that you will like, but you wil enjoy the atmosphere and the perfect service.

We went on a date and it's all you call eat sweet we though... well it's almost 28 bucks a person holy crap. The food was decent some of there rolls seemed dry and the caterpillar roll was so disappointing no eal sauce at all. Sad face :( I have to say might not go back there this place has a 4 star but it's not as good as I wanted it to be. Don't walk in this place thinking it's like another place you had. The sauce are all soy sauce I dipped everything in soy to make it taste better it some one worked. There miso soup has a lot of seaweed in it I love there miso. They also have the option of non all you can eat, and there really nice about it if you switch to all you can eat once your 3 rolls in which is awesome. So yes it's a hit and miss in this case we went today, maybe it's was there day miss day I said I wouldn't go back but one more time to see if it's going to be different. So it's decent for sushi wish they had added some sauces to make the sushi way better.

I was a little skeptical eating sushi in the middle of colorado but this place is legit! Sadly I tried Sushi ring my last weekend that I had lived in Colorado Springs, I dream about this place everytime when I go to a sushi restaurant. The all you can eat is such a great deal! the place is very tight and intimate at the bar but that is what makes it so great. you get to watch the server make everything right in front of you and make conversation. Pick any roll off the menu, they make it to your specification for as long as you can put them down. I wish there was a sushi ring in eugene oregon, I would be there monthly!

How did this place get so many 5-Star reviews? Seriously, when you hop on Yelp and search for local places to introduce someone you care about into the wonderful world of raw fish, you try and find a place that can at least be considered palatable. While going through reviews and pictures, I wanted that market atmosphere. A shop dominated by the bar with few tables and chefs that cut, carve, roll, and work right in front of you. Sushi Ring certainly had that, that seedy, down-by-the-docks feel that had me excited when I first stepped through the door. We sat down and ordered three things. This was my girlfriend's first time ever eating sushi and the first time in over 25 years eating fish (I ain't goin' into the story why, here). I wanted to ease her into the process and the prospect of Ebi and Sake Nigiri and a California Roll seemed like a tame road to travel down with her. The salmon was a little warm, not as buttery as it could have been and the shrimp was one of the most embarrassing things I have ever seen. Seriously, a five year old could have rolled a better ebi nigiri than this thing. A sad lump of rice hand rolled, like you would a nugget of play-doh, with a thin and mealy shrimp tail draped across without any care or packing. No wasabi spread between, no fresh wasabi on top, no garnish whatsoever. The same could be said for the california roll. Thrown together, loose, a total mess. The crab meat wan't moist or sweet, the avocado did nothing to add a nice, fatty base, and the cucumber wasn't crisp enough to add the contrast it is supposed to bring. Now, pat of my experience is my fault. Any sushi place that offers an 'All-You-Can-Eat' option should automatically be suspect. And there are others that would say you can't judge the joint by just it's california roll and shrimp. But, let's face it, if you can't master the very basic of dishes that anyone off the street is going to want, what hope will there be when you need to use bonito flakes, garlic sriracha, or a thick sweet soy sauce? On the plus side, the staff was friendly and attentive. Still, I'd rather go back to a place for the food instead of how many times you get your water refiled.

pretty good sushi, however I did get some less than fresh yellow tail that the heavy sauce couldn't disguise. the biggest problem with this place is service when the owner isn't around. they have a dedicated clientele and if you aren't one of them, they seem less than interested in serving you.

Really did not want it to end this way sushi ring! First of all we do not get warm welcomes or goodbyes, the first time I ate here, I shrugged it off, didn't matter much. 2nd time I went it was UNPLEASANT. First they forgot about my mussels, my surf clams, my sushi roll. Then when it came, they gave me 4/6 mussels only. when my eel roll came, I sh*t you not, I had at least 3 bones in EACH piece of the sushi, then I just stopped by the 2nd piece. Please clean your fish better. Maybe I just went on a bad day but I will not be returning.

    * Overall - 3.5 stars * Service - 5 stars (super-uber friendly & helpful) * Ambiance - 3 stars (strip mall setting with big TV - nothing special and it was so very loud it was very hard to hear the sushi chef or servers) * Sushi - 3 stars (OK sushi, but some of it was not that fresh) However, they did give us a taste of their house special, Upside-Down Shrimp & Scallops. Normally, I'm not a scallop fan, but was truly delicious! I would highly recommend that dish. FYI - The All-You-Can-Eat-Sushi was not a great deal to us. We ate ourselves silly on sushi a-la-carte and it still came out less that the cost for all-you-can-eat. NOTE: This rating is almost exactly opposite of our review of Ai Sushi... which we had for dinner that same night. If we could only combine Sushi Ring's service with Ai Sushi quality - it would be an epic meal.

Good Sushi, Great Rolls, and very friendly staff and chefs. I'm on a road trip from Miami and used Yelp to find Sushi Ring. To put my review in context, I live in Miami, specifically South Beach. We're on the ocean, where fish come from. We have more sushi restaurants than I can count, and I've had sushi at some of the supposedly best sushi restaurants around - Nobu in Miami, Vegas, Atlantis, NYC. Bond Street, Doraku, etc... The sushi here, the rolls especially, was comparable to any of those places. The chefs and staff are very friendly and make you feel right at home, which made dinner for me all the better as a solo traveler. It's a small place with more stools around the sushi bar than tables. Now guys, be aware, if your girlfriend or date is anything like the high maintenance girls that I deal with in Miami, they might not like the ambiance. You know the ones I'm talking about. All about appearances and the latest, trendiest places. Now, if they're normal, down-to-earth, and a keeper, they'll love the place. I put that up here, because if there are any bad reviews, it probably has more to do with the type of person writing the review then the actual quality of this restaurant. Highly recommended, and thanks Nick B for your good reviews which helped me find this place.

Sushi Ring, Me no happy today. You provided us with overcooked Udon noodles, the Shrimp Tempura was not tasty or crisp and your Sushi Ring Roll had about 7 salmon bones in it. Therefore...I deduct two points off my last review. Service was great, but it would have been nice to be comped for the BONES!

I've been living on the East Coast for a little over a year now and I had to get up here to write about this place because even being right on the coast line I haven't found a sushi place that compares to Sushi Ring. I miss it sooooo much!!! I miss the staff, I miss the sushi, I miss it all and I wish Sushi Ring would come to New England!!!! If you're just visiting or live in the springs and haven't been yet, GO!!!! You won't find better sushi... my mouth is watering.... if you do go make sure to tell them there's a yelp costumer from New England that misses them!

All you can eat sushi at a reasonable price. My brother and his Japanese wife recommended this place to me. We went after a trip to the dog park. If you aren't familiar with the area, it is in the Southern Cross shopping center behind the Walgreens. It is a small place. We sat at the bar and I had my 7 year old son with me. The sushi chefs remembered my brother and his wife from their last visit. They shop is clean, and presentable. However they have limited seating so get there early. We were having a late lunch, so all was good. Immediately we started ordering sushi. Between the two sushi chefs, we couldn't keep up with them in how fast they were preparing the orders. The fish was fresh and prepared well. The owner came out and chatted with us after he delivered an order. He even spent time talking with my son. Everyone was super friendly. I am looking forward to going back.

I've been wanting to try this place with my sushi-loving friend forever. Well, finally got to it this past weekend. Why did I wait so long? Yes, the price for lunch was pretty high (all-you-can-eat), but if I went to Ai Sushi and got the same stuff it would have been double! The selection is fantastic. And the fact that you just place your order to the sushi "masters" while sitting at the bar....they even customized (made spicier, left something out, etc). They also made recommendations based on what we previously ordered, or what they overheard us talking about. Everyone from the hostess to the owner (who spoke to everyone like they were long-time friends) was awesome! One other thing: you get your choice of things you really don't see as part of the all you can eat experience....the mussels were da bomb! One little tip: Explain how it works to newcomers so they don't look totally dazed and confused as soon as they sit down!

What a fun place! Elvis is a trip. I'd like to make this little joint a weekly stop! Fresh fish, tons of items to choose from if you select the "all you can eat" option (which I heartily recommend), and very reasonably priced. Only down side is the place is relatively small given the number of people who have found it and love it so you may have to wait for a seat! Seating was full both at the sushi bar and tables the day I went for lunch but I don't think I waited more than 10 minutes for a seat at the sushi bar. Loved it! A really fun, enjoyable place to go for a casual time with friends.

I don't understand why this place has such good ratings. Yes Ive been more than once but only because I can EAT some sushi and this is one of the only places in Colorado Springs that has all you can eat. I will say the two times I've gone I always swear to never go back. The service is ok. The manager is super sweet but I can't really say the same about the sushi chefs. They take breaks during orders and that really annoys me. The rolls are decent but find out the good ones and avoid the bad. Don't listen to the recommendations of the chefs....every time I did I HATED what I got. Anyways not horrible but not good in my opinion.

Sooo disappointed after seeing all the great reviews. The Sushi chefs put no heart in their rolls. And the waiter smells like tobacco and is overly obnoxious. I left feeling very uncomfortable because she insisted on us getting ice cream. Incredibly embarrassing because I was eith my girlfriend.

This place is fun. Small and crowded but the chefs know the regulars and if you're not a regular you will think you are while sitting there and you will want to be when you leave. When I sat down everyone greeted me like they knew me. I ordered water from the waitress and asked the sushi chef to surprise me. They have a all you can eat lunch and dinner sushi special for $21.95 and $27.95. I went with the dinner. They brought out the best calamari I have ever eaten. It was not the calamari you get from any other restaurant in town. It was large pieces of tentacles that you could see the little suction cups on deep fried and tasty. I also ate the mussels which I highly recommend. Since there was 3 chefs, and they seemed genuinely excited when I said surprise me, each of them delivered a different roll. They were all very interesting and great to eat. I sat next to a young couple I had never met chatting about sushi and ended up sharing some of each roll with them. That's the kind of place this is. You will want to share your experience with everyone. The chefs continued to provide me new and interesting rolls until I started to slow down. That's when the fun really began with the chefs and wait staff. For an all you can eat place they really want you to be happy and full. It's not the best sushi I have ever eaten but it's pretty awesome. It's crowded and small and cramped. None of that matters. Keep an open mind and joy in your heart and you will love this place. This was the best overall experience I've had at a sushi bar.

  • Nick A.

The service is pleasant, the setting (around the sushi bar with little or no table seating) is very cool, and the all you can eat sushi can certainly be a very economically prudent choice, especially if you have designs on eating a fair amount of sushi. The Elvis shit all over the walls (and rolls themed after the king himself) are all pretty cool, too. That being said, the sushi itself is very lackluster. We tried five different rolls, and did not enjoy any of them - the most disappointing being the Japanese Corndog, because it sounded so awesome. We ended up not even finishing and taking some of it to go with us - which we never even finished. Now, some people seem to really love this place - I am clearly not at all on the same page. The nice part about that is only one of us is wrong, so you have a 50/50 chance of liking this place, right?

My girlfriend brought me here for my birthday since we both love sushi. I don't know where she found out about this place but I am glad she did because this place was amazing!! You have the option of either order from the regular menu or you can do the "all you can eat sushi". That's what we did. We where getting different rolls left and right. The employees were amazing also, very funny yet polite always asking what sushi roll we wanted to try out next. If you are a sushi lover, I highly recommend you stop by here but just bring an empty stomach and do the sushi buffet.

This place is hands down the best sushi place in the Springs. My family and I have gone many times. The all you can eat is wonderful as it allows you to experiment with different types of sushi you might not have wanted to "try" for $10. Service is good, but does slow down a bit when it's gets crowded. The place isn't very large. It's primarily Sushi Bar style, so you sit at the bar and the Sushi Chef makes the food right there for you. The Sushi has been very fresh, they have worked very nice presentation and they are awesome with kids. We took my 6yr old daughter there (she loves sushi oddly enough) and he made her a mountain of tuna nigiri. Then when she wanted more rice, he made her these cute little rice balls that he mixed with masago (which she also likes). Later on, he made her a cute little "imitation crab tree" that was very decorative and she ended up eating two before we called it worried she might explode. Very nice staff, wonderful food. We don't go to any other Sushi place in the Springs but this one now.

Ok so I know. I have in fact made a reflection on Sushi Ring prior. But now is the time for change. I've now been in the Springs for over a year and I have to admit that I have a guilty addiction for Sushi Ring. Bare minimum twice a week. After seeing a few chefs go I would have to give the prize to Louis. The younger Hispanic guy who dominates the sushi making world. Without a doubt he can create anything you can imagine and keep it in memory. But I can't say all this without giving credit to Arnold who creates a "Nick" roll in my memory which is not on the menu but I highly recommend it. Arnold is also the other very competent chef who can create absolutely anything and is also Elivs' right hand man. I know that the prospect of attending a sushi bar that offers all you can eat is similar to eating sushi at a truck stop but I can assure you that this is not true. I have read other reviews claiming the pack of the rice is loose etc. which on some days I do in fact agree with those claims, but nothing to drive you away from the sushi bar itself. My buddies and I always attend this place side by side with other soldiers. It seems to me that the Special Forces world are sushi fans because I always see Green Berets during the week day lunch hour. With my wife doing their advertising and turning them into the best sushi "all you can eat" for under $25. With Sushi Ring starting their second advertising gig as of now, they are dominating the Colorado Springs area. With such a large following they will stay around for quite some time. I always notice the chefs acknowledge individuals by their name which only leaves me to believe many people have become regulars and business favorites. Either way and all BS aside. If you are looking for a relatively cheap and good sushi experience I highly advise you to come on down to Sushi Ring. But on the other hand if you are a snobby, "California only" sushi type of person, please keep in mind that you are in Colorado and this business does the best they can and is probably superior to your 18$ California Roll. So uhhhh yeah. Go back.

Sushi Ring is outstanding! It doesn't look like much from the outside...just a small storefront in a stripmall, and when you enter you're still wondering whether you should run screaming or not, but once they start the sushi rolling, you know you're in good hands. The inside is like an old-school diner, where you sit at a U-shaped bar and watch the sushi chefs at work. They have two types of menus--the a la carte menu and the all-you-can eat menu. My husband has enjoyed the all-you-can eat option, while I prefer a la carte. All their fish is incredibly fresh and flavorful, and everything is delicious. The sushi chefs are very fun and personable, and so are the wait staff. If you want a good atmosphere and great sushi, head down to Sushi Ring!

Ambiance: Practically hidden in an L-shaped strip mall. Place is very bright, small and not all that fancy. One side of wall is decorated in Elvis memorabilia, and Elvis surfaces again in the name of some their rolls. You sit at the horseshoe shaped sushi bar (seating for about 25 I would say) - no table seating. Service: This is their best attribute. Excellent service from the sushi chef, down to the wait staff and even the owner. Very attentive and friendly. Food: Hit and miss. All-you-can-eat sushi places are seldom ever the height of innovative and fresh sushi. With that being said, there were a few items I enjoyed, with others missing the mark. All you can eat dinner will set you back $24. I added up my sushi order, and it would have been about $35 had I ordered ala carte, so that was a value. The nigiri was a mix bag (maguro was flavorless, but the himachi was buttery and popping with good fresh flavor.) The chef is a little sloppy with his molding of the sushi rice (more of a wadded up walnut-sized ball, instead of a nicely shaped oblong piece of rice.) The rolls were all pretty average, nothing terrible, but nothing extremely original. I was put off having to pay $2 for a small cup of tea (this should be complimentary as it is as most Japanese and Sushi restaurants.) Overall, I am torn between 2 and 3 stars for this place. I must admit it was better than I thought it was going to be, but I have clearly had way better sushi at several other places in the Springs, and quite a few places up in Denver. I have to go with the Yelp definition of 2 stars - which state I have had better (which I have, and If you consider yourself somewhat of a sushi connoisseur, I bet you have too.)

What is the deal with all of these businesses closing to their regular customers in favor of private parties??? When you've thought out where you want to go and then make the effort to get there, only to find that they're open - BUT NOT TO YOU... You obviously go somewhere else. Nearby. And maybe you find that you like that somewhere else just as much or better. Good food. OK pricing. Pretty darn good service. But may or may not be open to you when you arrive at their front door...

Sushi Ring was a little hard to find for this non-local but the effort was well worth it. I've tried sushi a few times in the few months I've been in Colorado Springs and Sushi Ring wins hands down. Located in a strip mall near a dollar store and Walgreen's, this is a small restaurant with a sushi bar and just a few tables. They offer a full menu, liquor, sushi, including all you can eat, as well as appetizers and desserts. The all-you-can-eat sushi was $25 and included appetizers and ice cream. Our sushi chef was a great guy who made up as many surprise recipes for us as actual orders. This isn't a fancy-schmancy place but you will have a ton of fun and a ton of food nonetheless. Great place. I highly recommend.

Worst sushi I have ever had in my whole entire life! Deep fried sushi was burnt! Fish was not fresh! Sushi was so bad that we had to spit it into our napkins! My husband and I both got sick from this place! Employees were not helpful! Sushi chef was mad when we turned in our sheet for our sushi. Paid $60 for crappy sushi & horrible service! Do not recommend this place at all!!!!!!!!!!

Love love love this place! Been in Colorado Springs for almost a year and just found this place this week we've already been twice. Delicious! Fidel is the best! He can make anything and of he's not busy and you get the all you can eat sushi he'll make you some wild stuff! Can't stop thinking about it and can't wait to go back :)

We were visiting from Seattle and did a yelp search for restaurants close to our hotel. This place is amazing. The staff was very accommodating of our group of eight in a fairly small restaurant. There is a great menu selection and the quality is fantastic. Sushi Ring is definitely some of the best sushi I have had anywhere. We will be back whenever we're in the Springs.

Are you up to the challenge? $25 all you can eat, and they mean it. This is not one of those goofy conveyor belt restaurants. Instead, there are real people making your sushi as fast as you can order it. Don't see it on the menu? Just ask. Sit at the bar, avoid the tables if you can--service is much faster at the bar. the place is understaffed in the front, but I had nowhere to be and was enjoying interacting with the chefs. Get there a little early for dinner, like 6 o'clock hour because its small and it does fill up. Great food, great people, no frills, very fairly priced..

Sushi Ring was fun and a great value. The staff was extremely nice and the sushi chefs were a lot of fun. I went with the all-you-can-eat sushi and they were constantly joking with those in my party why they had not ordered sushi followed by asking what I'd like next. The most amazing part about the chefs, however, was not their humor, it was their expediency in putting together the rolls. While it did take some time to get the ball rolling on ordering for our entire party (there were 5 of us), once our orders were in, the rolls were plated within five minutes. You get an hour on the clock to eat all you can, and while at first I felt like I was on a Japanese game show, trying to best the clock, I quickly realized that an hour is plenty of time to fill one's belly with as much raw fish as you can. Along with the all-you-can-eat order (the entire menu is available for all you can eat btw, not some reduced food-stamps version of it) you can order miso soup, salad, gyoza, and fried calamari to your hearts content. Don't be fooled though, if you want the bang for your buck, stick with the sushi. However, the miso soup was very good and they had tempura balls in the soup which was a pleasant surprise and the crunch provided a different experience in eating the soup. The fish overall was pretty decent. I am always weary of eating sushi in land-locked states, Colorado being the epitome of said land-locked states, but the fish here was good and the sushi wasn't covered in sauce to mask its turning. All-you-can-eat often becomes a game of "how much rice can I eat," and while this place does stipulate that you must eat everything or additional charges apply, the rolls and nigiri were not rice-heavy at all. Their main focus is on the fish and ingredients to the roll, not the rice surrounding it. As for the ambiance, it was nothing special. I think for five starts, the decor would need that something extra to really make it stand out. It's located in a strip mall and the store-front is an unassuming ordinary glass door with blinds. The interior is rather small (only a few tables) and the bar is obviously the main feature, maxed-out at approx 15 stools. In big groups this place could be problematic and our party did wait for about 10 min for folks to clear out. It was awkward waiting because there was no foyer, you simply stand outside or right in front of the bar, which I could see being very imposing on those still trying to have their fill of all-you-can-eat. Aside from this flaw, the place is a fun time and a good value.

Service was fantastic, 5 stars. Everyone was so nice and friendly, plus I got a free cup of sake and two pieces of their specialty sushi. The sushi I give three stars, the salmon and tuna I got was ok but the speciality sushi samples I had (inside out shrimp and pepper tuna) were really delicious. Would come back here again just to chat with the sushi chefs.

I would love to complain about how bad the sushi was at Sushi Ring. BUT, I called this evening (Sunday) at 7:00pm. A polite sounding lady answered the phone. When I told her I wanted to place an order to-go, she tells me that the kitchen is closing down and that they close at 8pm. So, I went and spent my $40 at Fugiyama's.

I know... it's land locked Colorado, what am I doing going for sushi??

Whenever I'm sad, I go to Sushi Ring. The staff remembers me and the food is awesome! Try it.

Best sushi place in Colorado Springs! They can rival any five star sushi place I've ever been to; I've been all over the world. Great service and excellent variety of delicious rolls. You won't be disappointed!

I love this place!!! Elvis is the Owner and hands down one of the kindest people I know. Even when we are away they always remember a face! The food is to die for! I recommend the pikes peak roll

  • Aaron A.
